Cloud-based hosting refers to placing your organisations information on Remote Servers hosted on the Internet rather than on local, on premises servers or personal computers. Various reasons exist for placing your company data on these servers of which availability, security, cost of ownership, in-house IT skills and manageability are but a few reasons why companies move to the cloud hosted solutions.
Current statistics shows that more and people are moving towards hybrid solutions. Hybrid cloud hosting is a model that allows organizations to provision dedicated servers and storage and shared cloud servers and storage on the same network. A hybrid cloud consists of a minimum of one private cloud (also known as an internal cloud) and one public cloud (or external cloud).
